I've always fed my rats bok choy and pak choy as part of their dinner veges and they're still alive. Debbie Duconomann (sp) reccommends it as part of her diet too, and as the rat expert I can't imagine she'd recommend anything bad.
I know i've read pumpkin seeds are a good treat, do they like them? I'll have to try it. I think most fruit skins are edible, we just don't eat them because they aren't as nice as the flesh of the fruit. I've always given my rats the skins of my kiwi fruits and they LOVE them, they go nuts =P . Maybe look it up on google if they're edible for us. If they are i'm sure they'd be fine for rodents.

Thats good to hear, they get bok choy once or twice a week. If i give it to them too much they dont eat it.
At least if i accidentally pick up the other one I can give it to them too.
My boys put pumpkin seeds in the same category as yoggies. They love them.
