I have a few ratties with the sniffles at the moment.. Some people have said its weather related, then others say its not. Just curious as to what other people might think of this?

I think it depends on the situation and the rat themself.
It is not unreasonable to suggest rats do get the sniffles if they get cold or have a reaction to the dust or pollens being blown around.
But if I walked into a place with sneezing rats and it was dirty I would more so put it down to the conditions they were kept in and more likely the filth causing a myco flair up.
Keep an eye on the sneezers and if they continue for more than a day after the weather blows over then you need to look at it being more a sign of a myco flair up.

my cages are cleaned regulary,..they have to be,they are in my bedroom.
It IS however a cold room. There are no drafts though.
I might give them another week then med thier water if symptoms persist

I had a whole litter of baby rats get the sniffles, but it was cold and raining so the weather does have a effect on them.
