I have some gorgeous baby rats I'm looking for good homes for... 1 x 4 month old agouti hooded FEMALE, very friendly. We went and picked her and her babies up from a guy who advertised them in the paper saying he was going to drown them if they didn't go that day. She is beautiful and friendly, loves attention. ($10 to good home) 1 x 5 week old black berkshire FEMALE, this lovely girl is bub from the agouti hood girl, this little one was born with only one eye however it doesn't worry her the slightest. She is a big sook and very affectionate. (FREE TO GOOD HOME) 1 x 5 week old agouti hooded FEMALE, another litter mate. Gorgeous and friendly. ($10 to good home) 1 x 5 week old agouti hooded MALE, very soft natured boy, lovely and friendly, very relaxed boy. ($10 to good home) If anyone is interested in any of these gorgeous rats please feel free to contact me. I'm located in PERTH WA.

Rats that some where in their family line have had a Down Under rat, can have the missing eye problem.
It means that these rats should be pet only and never bred from, as its possible they all have that faulty gene and could pass on missing eyes to their offspring.
That girl is so cute though and if I lived closer I would adopt her for sure as I've had rats with missing or blind eyes before and they do get around just like normal sighted rats.

I was thinking the exact same thing before, as I too, have a DU rat with a small eye.

that black berkshire female is so cute, she would be a great partner for my champagne mm berkshire male (Sire Bruiser).
