i got 6 excellent pics out of just under 200 pics today so I have heaps to learn im with u on the number of pics. Especially if u've forgotten you've changed a certain setting, then when u move onto the next thing ur pics end up too dark or light lol... it takes me about 3-4 pics to notice i've stuffed up. I can take that many and only end up with a few keepers. The joys of learning. Do you have any prior experience or knowledge or just self teaching?

Just self teaching.... Im going to do a photography course but with the kids swimming (club, squad & competitive) which im vice president for, soccer (club & rep)which im yet to put my hand up for anything, the animals well over 100 of, wildlife caring and some RnR Im yet to find the time

lol, sounds like self teaching might be the way to go until some time free's up definitely join a camera forum or two though, they ususally help when you have trouble understanding something or working something out on the camera it's worked for me so far. lol

hehe that's reminds me of something... the 2nd pic has a great depth of field (I love using apeture since I learnt more about it), but a shallow depth of field is good because you can get their faces in focus with minimal blurring, but the fun part is when they move slightly and get perfect little ears, and a burry nose and eyes LOL. I think they find amusement in our frustration.
