I did? hmm. Well there's uhhh, 7 mice in my big cage which i want to expand, o rmake bigger so maybe put the boys in the big cage. I'm looking for a nice big chest of drawers to remake into a cage! A few good ones have caught my eye ! Anyways i guess i thought i couldn't handle more than six, but i guess i can. I got enough room, if i set up the spare cage and then use my Maccas money to get the drawers... it's still in my head! But i definitely will not be getting anymore mice until I've gotten another cage.

And youve said that other times too.
You also want to get rats. Are you going to have enough time/money/space/food for the 2 rats (that will probably expand) and 9+ mice.

If i get rats I will not expand them unless one of them dies and needs another friend. I have my limits too, you know.
And I think I will like to have more mice in the future as I like to have a big number, though definitely not over 15, and I find it more fun with more. But this will be in the future, when I am more responsible and organized as everything is a bit chaotic when it comes to my room and other things.

Again, you said you wouldnt go over six!
I am giving up warning you that youll get over run, but if your mice end up pregnant and dumped somewhere you arent going to be anyones favourite person.

I thought the idea of a forum was to support each other not constantly run them down. Ok she has changed her mind but that is her business. If she gets into trouble from having too many mice than we are here to help her. I understand the whole getting overrun with rodents as when I saved my mice originally I ended up with over 100 because alot of them were pregnant. But I found nice homes for most of them (I still have over 10 of the originals) and I am now getting out of mice altogether to concentrate on my rats. If this is what you want alice then go for it but just keep the females seperate from the males or you'll end up being overrun with way too many mice than you planned.

I met Alice yesterday, and would like to add that her father was at the show. She has the support of her parents regarding the mice. Alice's Dad mingled with the others and asked questions about rats and mice and was interested in what was going on. She didn't get the new mouse without parental approval, which in my view makes a world of difference.
As a parent, I wouldn't allow my child to get an animal that I wasn't prepared to look after myself at some point (kids get busy, have sleepovers, go away for school etc) - and while I can't answer for Alice's parents, I have the feeling that it's the same for them.

You should have told me if you wanted her! But too late now! Ha ha! Yeah, my dad would never allow me to get a mouse without his or mum's permission so yeah! I'm of course keeping the females away from the males so none of them will end up pregnant!
