Hi, it's Catherine here who has been looking for rescued rats all week. I've found some and arranged today to pick them up on Sunday, so thank you to everyone who has contacted me to help. However, after arranging this I received an email from a lady asking whether I could rehome two or more of six male black hooded rats. She works at a university in Sydney and the rats have been put through mazes a few times a while back for research, but there is no use for them now. Apparently the university would rather find homes for them, but if no homes are found they will be put to sleep. Can any one help? The boys are in three pairs, so it would be nice to rehome them in pairs or more where possible. They are around one year old and have lovely natures. Apparently they have had really boring lives so far, so it would be nice to find them loving homes where they can have a play. If you can help please email me at catherinemio83@yahoo.co.uk and I'll pass your details on to the lady. Fingers crossed we can find homes for these babies. Catherine

I have just been warned about these rats, apparently ones adopted from the same place where extremely aggressive and dangerous.

Well the ones I adopted from the same place were angels. Didn't live long, but were extremely loving and smoochy.
