theres quite a bit involved with genetics. And would love it if the breeders posted thier findings,and a brief run down of what they get in each litter

we put a cinnamon berkshire male with a pink eyed whit female and got hooded markings on all but one and the colours where fawn, cinnamon, dove, mink and pink eyed whites the pink eyed whit whas the dominant gene

Umum.
I bred a standard agouti self to a rex agouti berkshire.
And got 4 rexes, 3 standards. I think it was, 4 berkshires, and 3 selfs. All agouti.
And that showed that mumma didnt carry black

well in my litter i paired a BEW to a MM Capped rex. This was a father daughter mating. In the litter as most of us already know ,we got: 4 silverblack marked rats 7 Bews
4 rats(,2 BEWS one MM BEW and a Marked) turned out to be rexs
